I discovered Bob Crewe while listening to SomaFM’s excellent Illinois Street Lounge station. I think people have forgotten that as much as the Rolling Stones and Beatles defined ’60s music, this did, too. At least, this is what I remember hearing, in everything from department stores to TV ads.
