Countdown Calendar 1.1.1

The latest version of Countdown Calendar is now available. It’s actually been done for quite a while but I’d never gotten around to packaging it up and posting it. Realizing that the old version’s “October bug” was about to hit (countdowns that run through October end up being one day too long) I figured it was important to get a fix out. It’s pretty amazing how popular this thing has become, and I was intimidated at the thought of thousands of threatening e-mails questioning my counting skills. (They’re good, thanks.)

New in this release:

  • Count weekdays only – Great for those business deadlines.
  • Specify date format – Perfect for those weird countries that like to put the day first instead of the month.
  • ‘October’ bug fixed – Somehow, if your count goes through the month of October, your count will be one day too long. That’s fixed in this release.

If you already have a copy of Countdown Calendar running, bring it up, flip it over, and click on “Update.” If you don’t already have a copy, click here.

Is there a way to imbed your countdown clock in “I-Work – Numbers”
I am an event production designer and I am building a project template – would love to include your countdown.

  2. Beautiful widget—but I’d like to use *two* at the same time—one for an “until” and one for a “since.” Is it impossible to get OSX to keep two versions of the same widget running at the same time?

  3. Hi, Stuart–

Running more than one instance of the widget shouldn’t be a problem at all, just as you should be able to run more than once instance of the weather or clock widgets.

Let me know if you have any problems.
