From the New York Times:

The planned $13 billion merger of the nation’s two satellite radio services, Sirius and XM, is sure to raise antitrust issues.

Yes, if you’re a fool. The idea that these joined companies don’t face massive competition from the panoply of audio alternatives already on the market is ridiculous. Testament to that is that I don’t even think the merged company has all that great a chance of surviving. The world decided a decade ago what the radio technology of the future was going to be, and it wasn’t satellite.
